Fireglide Radiation (EW)
Large openings in buildings require a fire-safe solution that matches both the available space and the intended use of the building. The Fireglide Radiation (EW) from Hoefnagels Fire Safety combines excellent fire resistance with a robust sliding door construction. The door prevents the spread of fire while simultaneously limiting heat radiation to adjoining areas. As a result, fire compartments remain intact for longer and the impact of a fire is minimised.
The sliding door is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial buildings, logistics centres, museums and parking garages. Thanks to its single-leaf design and its ability to close off large openings, the Fireglide Radiation offers a high degree of design flexibility when planning a building layout.
Up to 120 minutes fire resistance and extensive configuration options
With fire resistance of up to 120 minutes (EW) on both sides, the Fireglide Radiation provides a reliable solution for the fire-resistant compartmentation of buildings. In addition, the sliding door can be configured in many different ways. As an option, it can be equipped with a pedestrian escape door, with or without a glazed vision panel.
The Fireglide Radiation also offers various options in terms of smoke resistance. The door is available in the smoke resistance classes Sa3, Sa4 and S200. For applications where enhanced security is required, the sliding door can also be supplied in the burglar resistance classes RC3 and RC4.
