Boijmans van Beuningen Depot opens its doors in 2021. Then the collection of 151,000 works of art will become accessible to the public. The delicate art and the large numbers of visitors which the depot expects make it very important that the security in the building is of an extra-high level.

The museum will soon house 20 fire-resistant and burglary-resistant sliding doors and 6 fire-resistant revolving doors. The installation of the doors is currently in full swing.

On 3 September we had a nice celebration together with the other parties involved. On this day the highest point of the museum was reached. The building is now 39.5 metres high. We are proud to contribute to the safety in this striking building and cannot wait until the official opening in 2021.
