Technical information on roller shutters
Armour type SE144
The armour is made from cold-rolled, single walled galvanised steel sections, material thickness 1 mm.
All the extremities of the sections are locked to each other to prevent horizontal movement between them.
Suitable for security and industrial purposes, parking garages etc.

The armour is made from cold-rolled, single walled aluminium sections, material thickness 1 mm.

Armour type SE144P
The armour is made from cold-rolled, single walled galvanised steel sections, material thickness 1 mm. The sections are provided with holes of diameter 3 mm, centre distance 6 mm (approx 16% open).
All the extremities of the sections are locked to each other to prevent horizontal movement between them.
Suitable for security and industrial purposes, parking garages etc.
Armour section type SD100
The armour is made from flat, double walled galvanised steel sections, material thickness 2 x 1 mm, provided with a mineral wool filling. (It is also possible to employ a polystyrene or polyurethane foam filling).
All the extremities of the sections are locked to each other to prevent horizontal movement between them.
Suitable for security and industrial purposes, parking garages etc.
Armour section type AD100
The armour is made from flat, double walled aluminium sections, material thickness 1 mm. The armour is provided as standard with a mineral wool filling. (It is also possible to employ a polystyrene or polyurethane foam filling).
All the extremities of the sections are locked to each other to prevent horizontal movement between them.
Suitable for security and industrial purposes, parking garages etc.

Armour section type SD1.95R
The armour is made from flat, double walled sections.
These sections consist of galvanised steel sections, material thickness 0.38 mm, filled with polyurethane foam. All the extremities of the sections are locked to each other to prevent horizontal movement between them.
The profiles are finished as standard with a clear protective lacquer. (Bonder® Permanent Coating)
The armour is available in three colours; these resemble RAL colours 9006, 9016 and 9002.
This section is suitable for frequent use for industrial applications, parking garages and shop premises.
Operation of roller shutter
The shutter is driven by a built-in 220 V tubular motor, fitted between brackets.
Control of the motor takes place as standard using a key switch, intermittent type, with the functions up-down in surface mounted configuration.
Motor and controls
Smart Control box
All roller shutters and roller gates (except 220 V tubular motors combined with single switch) are provided with the comprehensive Smart Control box. A control box with traffic regulation is optional. For more information please see the specification service.
The Smart Control box is provided with four signal lamps to indicate the following:
• indication of a maintenance check based on time and number of movements;
• power supply present;
• faults
(To allow our fitters to read out faults a memory function is provided);
• check that the motor rotates the correct way.
At the same time, the Smart Control box checks the roller shutter for:
• running time protection;
• continuous motor current; on overload, the motor is switched off;
• a delay time of one second to protect the motor when changing direction up-down and vice versa.
By using special software the standard control may easily be expanded with various functions.
