Firelock® fire-resisting roller shutters

In case of fire, the space is compartmented by the roller doors so that the fire cannot spread further.  

Firelock® fire-resisting roller shutters have a fire resistance of 120 minutes and can be used in applications including industrial, office and accommodation buildings and in shipping. Besides the fire-resisting roller shutter, the implementation of constructional arrangements such as steelwork, fire-resisting panelling and brickwork are among the possibilities to help you achieve a turnkey fire barrier system. 

Hoefnagels sets great store on innovation and development. Thanks in part to the continuous attention to R&D, Firelock® fire-resisting roller shutters can be implemented as explosion‑safe fire doors and burglar-resisting fire doors. 

Hoefnagels Firedoors is the only supplier in the Netherlands to issue an ATEX 95 declaration for the application of fire doors and roller shutters in explosion-hazard environments. This means that Hoefnagels' products are suitable for use in spaces where an explosion risk is present. The chemical and petrochemical industries are particularly happy with this development.  

The Firelock® BD-120 Protect has burglar resistance class 4 according to EN1627 and a fire resistance of 120 minutes. The Firelock® Protect passed the tests carried out by the Frontage Construction Quality Foundation (SKG) with flying colours. The Firelock® Protect is particularly suitable for those situations where, besides the protection and security of valuable goods against theft, high fire resistance requirements also apply. It became apparent that museums, jewellers and banks required such a roller door. For establishments with a high risk profile (power stations, airfields, computer centres etc) the Firelock® BD-120 is also the perfect solution. 

Hoefnagels Firedoors is certified by BORG. All roller shutters, roller gates and sliding doors from Hoefnagels Brand- en Bedrijfsdeuren are supplied and fitted with a CE mark. In the field of intrusion prevention, Hoefnagels also has BORG certification.
