Firelock® fire-resisting sliding doors (with escape door)

Besides fire-resisting roller screens and shutters, Hoefnagels also has fire-resisting sliding doors in its product range. Unique to the Firelock® fire-resisting sliding doors is that these can be supplied with an escape door. Hoefnagels Brand- en Bedrijfsdeuren is the first company in the Netherlands to have a fire-resisting sliding door with escape door provided with a test report. Efectis/TNO and the Frontage Construction Quality Foundation (SKG) have approved this combination for a fire resistance of 60 minutes.

With the integrated escape door in the fire-resisting sliding door, the applicability of the sliding door is many times greater than before. The escape door can be used as an emergency and/or escape door.

On a fire alarm, the sliding door closes automatically and thus functions as a fire partition. By installing an escape door in the partition, it’s always possible to pass through the partition, while at the same time the fire resistance of the wall is guaranteed.

The Firelock® fire-resisting sliding door can be supplied in a most luxurious model as well as the standard model. Sliding doors with fire-resisting glass or panelled with wooden or stainless steel panels are possible. Particularly in situations where aesthetic considerations play an important role, such as, for example, in offices, hospitals and public buildings, these luxury sliding doors are a superb fire-resisting solution.

Hoefnagels Brand- en Bedrijfsdeuren is certified by BORG. All roller shutters, roller gates and sliding doors from Hoefnagels Brand- en Bedrijfsdeuren are supplied and fitted with a CE mark. In the field of intrusion prevention, Hoefnagels also has BORG certification.
